When you come to Oxford Women's Health you can be confident that you are being advised and treated by some of the most highly qualified women's health specialists in New Zealand. Since we began more than 25 years ago we have been pioneers in women's health care. Our dedication to expertise, along with our personalised approach, ensures the best experience possible for our patients.
As well as working at the cutting edge of their specialties, many of our health professionaIs are involved in training the next generation of clinicians.
We share our knowledge of gynaecology, working with trainees to ensure that skills are passed on to the next generation. We have also been involved as supervisors, supporting junior trainees with operating lists and helping them prepare for their professional exams.
We are also committed to sharing knowledge with our General Practice colleagues. To achieve this, we develop and deliver regular training seminars, which are endorsed by The Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners (RNZCGP), and viewed by General Practitioners throughout the South Island.
At a national level, we have a staff member sitting on the New Zealand branch of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (RANZCOG), the professional body of obstetrics and gynaecology specialists. One of our specialists is an examiner for the professional exams and another sits on the board of an international gynaecological committee.
Our specialists are involved with various professional bodies around the world including the International Continence Society, Australasian Menopause Society, Health and Disability Commission of New Zealand, Australasion Gynaecological Endoscopy and Surgery Society, American Association of Gynaecologic Laparoscopists and the Urognaecology Society of Australasia.
