Dr Nicola Carey has joined Oxford Women's Health to provide a Menopause Clinic.
She is available to discuss menopause problems and provide advice on hormonal medication and other treatments.
Nicola has worked for 25 years as a general practitioner and has specialised in women's health for 21 years.
She studied medicine at the University of Otago and completed her clinical years in Christchurch.
Nicola is from Christchurch but lived in England from 1983 until 2015, when she returned to New Zealand. During her time in the UK, she worked as a Paediatric registrar, a Senior House Officer (SHO) in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, and as a GP registrar. She was then a partner in Stour Surgery, Dorset for 21 years.
As well as running Oxford Women's Health's Menopause Clinic, Nicola works half-time as a GP in Christchurch.
