Oxford Women's Health now offers the services of Massage Therapist Stacey Harris.
Stacey uses massage therapy for the treatment of symptoms, relating to pregnancy and a range of health issues, including persistent pain and recovery from trauma and injury. She also performs massage therapy for general relaxation.
In addition to therapeutic massage techniques, Stacey uses Manual Lymphatic Drainage techniques, dry needling, cupping, a variety of stretch techniques and taping, to enhance the effects of your time with her. She can also advise you on simple exercises and activities you can do to continue the work on yourself. Stacey is a registered member of Massage New Zealand.
She has a particular interest in pain science, the psychology of pain, and how people's bodies respond to pain. She can give advice on how to improve posture, sleep, and sitting and standing positions.
Stacey is available for appointments at Oxford Women's Health on Tuesdays.
