Physiotherapy is a broad specialty covering a variety of health conditions. At Oxford Women's Health, we are lucky to have the services of Julee Binns, a physiotherapist who primarily specialises in women's health.
Certain areas, such as the treatment of urinary incontinence and pelvic floor prolapse, require a special skillset, which only some physiotherapists possess. Through examination, evaluation, diagnosis and physical intervention, using tailored exercise programmes, Julee is able to treat a wide range of patients.
If you are having or have had major surgery, Julee may also be involved in pre-operative and/or post-operative programmes, which help you to get moving again and optimise your recovery. Pelvic floor therapy can also be arranged after childbirth.
In addition to being a qualified physiotherapist, Julee is also a BET Qualified Clinical Pilates Physiotherapist and is certified to practice as a PINC Cancer Rehabilitation Physiotherapist. This provides our patients with a seamless transition from treatment to rehabilitation to having an improved quality of life.
