Dr Samanthi Rambadagalla joined the Oxford Women’s Health team in early 2024 as a General Practitioner in our menopause clinic.
Soon after completing her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in 2000, Dr Rambadagalla moved to New Zealand and attained her Fellowship of the Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners (FRNZCGP).
She has worked as a General Practitioner for more than 15 years, predominantly in rural practices, and when she is not at Oxford Women’s Health she is a General Practitioner at a GP Practice on the edge of Christchurch.
Dr Rambadagalla has a special clinical interest in women’s health, lifestyle, and preventative medicine. She is trained to insert Mirena® and Intrauterine Contraceptive Devices (IUCD), and to perform pipelle biopsies.
In her spare time, Dr Rambadagalla enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, exploring nature, cooking, and painting.
